Keith and Barbara Burnham reserved all of our rooms and brought their entire family...children and grandchildren when visiting Rankin Ranch.
Letters from the Burnham Family:
"All I can say about our stay with you is WOW!!! You made us all feel like a member
"Thanks so much for a wonderful time at your beautiful ranch! I especially enjoyed the wholesome farm atmosphere for my children, as they have not experienced very much of that side of life."
Long time ranch guests, Robin, Hagai and their three children Adam, Arielle and Annie arrived on Friday afternoon for what Robin thought was a small birthday celebration with her husband and children. She told me she had invited her mom and dad, and several friends, but they were all too busy to come. On Saturday, we had her first birthday celebration with a cake and little gift. After dinner, Robin enjoyed the square dance and western line dancing with her family that evening.
A year ago, Hagai had asked Robin what she wanted to do for her 40th birthday. She said, "My 'FANTASY 40TH BIRTHDAY' would be to have all my family and friends, the people I love, together at Rankin Ranch!"
On Sunday afternoon, when Robin thought she and her family would be leaving for home after returning from the meadow barbecue, HER WISH CAME TRUE! While she was gone to the cookout, a bus load of friends and family arrived, about ninety people, including her mom and dad, and her best friends. Lunch was served and everybody started decorating for the party. We filled the recreation room with balloons, birthday signs, and wind socks were hung
THE PARTY BEGAN...there was a Champagne Toast with lots of hugs, smiles and cheers. The Quarter Circle U Olympic Games were set up and ready to go. The children had a great time with these old-fashioned contests...gunny sack and stick horse races, egg-spoon races, and much more! Adults enjoyed volleyball, swimming, horseshoes, and everyone loved the horseback riding! Before dinner, the children went on a hay wagon ride while the adults gathered in Lightner Square for refreshments and a good visit. Rudy and his helpers prepared a delicious barbecued tri-tip and chicken buffet with fresh garden vegetables, salads and breads. And of course, following dinner there was a huge WESTERN BIRTHDAY CAKE with toy horses and cowboy boot candles galore!! ROBIN'S WISH HAD COME TRUE!!! That evening family and friends danced by the light of the moon on the big lawn, everybody had a wonderful time, adults and children of all ages. Late that night when it was time for farewells, the bus departed with many of the party guests, but several stayed over. The next day, Robin was till in a state of disbelief...she turned to Hagai and said, "EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT...HOW DID YOU DO IT?"
