Our family has been raising cattle for generations, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that we began selling local beef directly to you.  This has been a very exciting adventure for me learning the ropes of the retail beef business.  Our guests have enjoyed taking beef home after vacationing at the ranch, neighbors have bought local beef for special celebrations, and we’ve made monthly deliveries to neighboring communities.  Now we begin an exciting new step in this journey…Rankin Beef delivered directly to your doorstep for the holidays!

We have created a few holiday packages for you to choose from and pricing includes delivery to your door anywhere in California.  You can also send Rankin beef as a gift and we will be happy to include a Christmas card with your personal message.  Beef will be shipped on Tuesday, December 16th and Monday, December 22nd for delivery the following day.

Delicious SteakPremium Pack – 2 Filet Mignon Steaks, 4 Ribeye Steaks, 4 New York Steaks – $175

Grilling Pack – 2 Top Sirloin Steaks, 2 Ribeye Steaks, 4 NY Steaks, 4 Flat Iron Steaks – $150

Family Pack – 2 Top Sirloin Steaks, 4 NY Steaks, 4 Flat Iron Steaks, 4 Cube Steaks – $130

All packages include approx 8 pounds of beef.  Supplies are limited and subject to availability.

If you live in the local area take advantage of one of our local pick-up locations and save approximately $50 on shipping.  Beef can also be picked up at Rankin Ranch with advanced appointment.

Bakersfield at the Emporium Western Store – Wednesday 12/17 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Sunday 12/21 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Lake Isabella Senior Center – Monday 12/15 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Tuesday 12/23 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Piute Mountain School – Thursday 12/18 4:30-5:30 p.m. (We can also hold your beef until after the Christmas Program)

Tehachapi Library – Thursday 12/18 1:30-3:30 p.m.

A bit more about our beef…Our cattle are raised on grass in the mountains of Kern County and finished on grain at a feedlot in Bakersfield.  Our 31,000 acre cattle ranch has been family owned for over 150 years and we are proud to provide high quality beef from our ranch to your table.  Our beef grades high choice and is dry aged for 21 days before being cut into delicious steaks for you to enjoy.  The steaks are vacuum packed and frozen with two steaks in each package.
