• If you need to fill your evening with activities, the Ranch has many fun things to do. We offer square dancing, bingo, pool, foosball tournaments, and indoor “Horse Races.” You can then finish off your evening by gazing up at the star-filled skies.
• In addition, we host weekly evening haywagon rides to a barbecue dinner in the meadow, followed by a horseshoe tournament. These activities are great if you have children with you and you still want to have a fun time on your romantic getaway.
• Suit up and go river rafting on the Kern River. Kernville is about a 45-minute drive from the Ranch. Head north to Kern River Outfitters to make a reservation.
• A great way to bond is by taking a cooking class. Visit our friend Chef Richard at The Kitchen. He offers fantastic courses on how to cook some delicious meals and loves preparing Rankin Ranch Beef.
